Terry Boroff Owner, SDI/ERDI Instructor, OUPV Captain

Terry began his diving career in the summer of 1991 with an open water certification through Aqua Hut in Toledo, Ohio.  He literally logged over a 100 dives that summer between the lake, quarries, and any pond he could find to blow bubbles in.  He gained his Divemaster cert in 2000 through The Dive Shop in Westerville Ohio while also operating as a special deputy diver with the Delaware County Sheriffs Dept.  In 2001, while working at the former East Coast Dive Connection he became a NASE instructor.  He would go on to graduate from Navy Scuba School in 2004 and Navy EOD Assistant school in 2005.  He also attended various underwater explosive courses and  qualified on the MK 16 (rebreather).  Terry has been a Paramedic and CPR instructor for over 15 years and has worked in various parts of the country. He also holds a OUPV Captains license and is a ERDI Instructor. Terry is a certified repair technician for Zeagle, Spare Air, Hollis, Ocean Reef, and Bauer compressors. 

 Scott Hurley SDI/ NASE Instructor, OUPV Captain

Scott received his initial open water certification in 1997.  He became a NASE instructor in 2005, and a SDI Instructor with multiple specialties in 2010.  He is a Registered Nurse and reserve deputy with Berkeley County Sheriffs department marine unit and dive team.  Scott also holds a OUPV Captains license and is a certified repair technician for Spare Air, Zeagle, and Tilos regulators.

Paul Stevens NAUI Instructor

Paul earned his NAUI and IANTD OW instructor through the original Paradise Dive Center in 1997.  Since that time Paul has certified multiple students through his company Scuba Steve's Dive Training.  He is a certified technician through Zeagle, Hollis, Ocean Reef, and Spare Air.  Paul is currently employed with Charleston County EMS and is active with Special Operations.

Diana Freeman PDIC/ SCPSDI Instructor

Diana has been a Padi instructor and former dive shop owner since 1987.  She holds numerous law enforcement, EMS, and diving certifications and has an extensive history in public safety diving.  She is currently a PDIC and SC Public Safety Divers International Instructor.  Diana is a Sergeant and dive team leader for the Berkeley County Sheriffs Department. She is also a certified technician for Zeagle, Hollis, Spare Air, and Ocean Reef.

Julian Blair MDEA Instructor Trainer, NAPD Instructor

Julian is a NAPD Police Diver Instructor and a MDEA Instructor Evaluator / NASE Instructor Trainer and PDIC Public Safety Instructor  with over 30 years of experience.  He is the former team leader for the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office Dive Team.  Julian is currently the dive team leader of the  Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Underwater Recovery Team and Sumter Fire Departments Dive Team.

Dr Adam Mandel SDI/TDI/NAUI Instructor

Adam is a NAUI/SDI/TDI Instructor with multiple specialties.  He is currently an emergency room physician.

Ken Atwell SDI Assistant Instructor

Ken was Open Water certified through LCD in 2006.  Since that time he has completed his Assistant Instructor and became a certified repair technician for Zeagle, Ocean Reef, Spare Air, and Tilos regulators.  Ken is currently a Paramedic with Charleston County EMS 

Tony Blair NASE Assistant Instructor

Tony Blair is a NASE Assistant Instructor, and holds certifications as an NAPD - Special Response Diver and PDIC - Underwater Criminal Investigator, and assists with many of the Public Safety Dive Courses.  Tony is currently employed with the Old Fort Fire Department.
